Name: Orchid
Clan: None
Rank: Kittypet
Age: 24 moons
Gender: She-cat
Description:
Orchid's bone structure is small, light, and long. Her triangular face is elegant and tipped with large, satelite dish sized ears. Her dark amber eyes are large and almond shaped, while her nose is small and pink. Orchid's chest is narrow, as are her long legs which are tipped in tiny paws. Her long back has an elegant arch to it, and her tail is narrow. Her hind legs are muscular near the hip, but just as narrow near her tiny back paws.
Personality: Elegant, Caring
Elegant:
Orchid, being that she's a show cat, is always looking her best and never acts like one of those 'uncooth' forest cats. She won't get dirty unless she absolutly must, and even then she doesn't like it very much at all. This she-cat is always wearing something that her housefolk put on her and showing it off with the pride of a champion. Everything about Orchid drips saphistication. Her walk is slow and even, her tail swooshes behind her as if gently warding away anything not worth following her. Of course, she wouldn't really turn any cat who needs it down, but she looks like a snob and can be sometimes.
Caring:
Even if Orchid is a perfect show-cat, she understands that not every cat is. Orchid would help any cat who was in obvious need of it, no matter what the help is. Her caring nature comes from her high life, and -very much like her housefolk- Orchid just can't see other cats suffer. Her shows keep everyone in her house fed and well, which is why Orchid takes so much pleasure in what she does. Any hungry mouth is free to eat, Orchid doesn't even mind the occasional quiet dog. Speaking of food, Orchid refuses bagged food or canned mush. The prissy she-cat won't stand for it, and eats what her house folk eat. Anything from cooked fish to expencive meats, Orchid has eaten food that no forest cat could even begin to imagine.
History:
Orchid was born in a litter of three to her mother, Black Rose; and father, Rain Storm. Seeing as the breeding was chosen by the housefolk, Orchid and her siblings didn't know their father very well, and saw the family dog -a mini aussie named Nika- as their male parent. Because of this, they get along very well with most dogs. They were trained from the moment they were old enough to walk. They were told everything about being show cats by their mother, father, and housefolk. It wasn't long before they went on their first visit to the vet. The kittens were healthy and given their shots then sent home. After that, the next show-kit was chosen and it was Orchid. At 5 moons old, Orchid went to her own nest and won her first ribbon when she was 8 moons old. Even since, she has won ribbon after another, and her housefolk are loving housefolk. Her life has been good and she knows that.
