Ah, Wind Clan. In my experience, we are the "simplest clan" to others. However, in my opinion, it's extremely complex. Here is everything there is to know about WndClan.
General Clan Personality
Wind Clan is extremely fast and loyal. They are very tough. However, they can be nervous and quick to flee, probably due to the open moor has no real cover.
WindClan is extremely proud to say they are the clan closest to StarClan, both physically and spiritually. They and ThunderClan are right next to the Moonpool. The moor also has no trees or large bushes, so they can easily see Silverpelt. WindClan prefers to sleep in the open air.
WindClan is considered the physically fastest and also the most quick witted. It is easy to offend a WindClan cat, and they often are the ones to cause conflicts. Out of all the clan cats, WindClan cats know the most about Twolegs, because of farms that surround their territory.
WindClan highly values rabbits. They are sacred to the clan. A rabbit is killed only to be eaten. All parts are used, the pelt for nests, the meat for food, and the bones are buried. To kill a rabbit and not give thanks to it results in a warning. Killing a rabbit for fun results in apprentice duties for a moon. Without rabbits, WindClan would be very different.
Territory
-The Camp:
The camp is a shallow scoop in the ground. Boulders can be found nearby, the largest known as Tallrock.
Unlike most clans, WindClan has only three main dens. The Nursery can be found under a gorse bush. Scoops in the dirt are lined with animal pelts. The medicine cat den is the crevice in a rock. An old
badger set provides shelter for the Elders. During bad weather, danger, or some other reason, the other clan members sleep in old rabbit burrows and fox dens. The majority of the clan sleeps outside, in the middle of the camp. Animal pelts may cover the ground to provide a soft nest.
The camp has no natural protection, so warriors have to be vigilant and well trained.
-Moonpool Stream:
This stream marks the border between WindClan and ThunderClan. The stream lads to the Moonpool.
-Horseplace:
The Horseplace fence marks the southern border of WindClan. Cats rarely venture here, the hard hooves of the horses have been know to kill or seriously injure.
-Lakeshore:
The shore of the huge Lake is what marks the eastern border.
Fighting
One cat, Graywing the Wise, created many strategies for WindClan.
-Approach from Above Your Enemy
Step 1. Find high-ground.
Step 2. Wait for the patrol leader to give the Attack Tail Signal.
Step 3. Charge down your high ground; your enemy will be weak from being forced to fight uphill.
-Use the Light from the Sun
Step 1. Attack your enemy with the sun behind you, which should blind the enemy and limit their view.
-Know Where the Wind is Coming From
If there is strong wind present, make sure it blows behind you; that will keep the enemy back and blind them with dust. If your stalking, however, make sure the wind blows towards you si as not to give away your scent.
-Conceal the Size of Your Force
Step 1. Make sure your attackers are in sight from a distance.
Step 2. Avoid swarming; this will make you appear as a small attack force and encourage the enemy to be thingyy. If you want to intimidate, spread out your Clanmates into single file, which will appear as an impressive border of warriors.
Step 3. Attack the enemy.
-Attack Both Ends of the Enemy Line First
Step 1. Attack both ends of your enemy's line, leaving the middle cats to fend on two fronts; this will leave them outnumbered, weak, and in disorder.
Step 2. Attack the rest of the enemies until they flee.
-Keep Fresh Warriors in Reserve
Step 1. Always keep strong warriors to replace injured ones.
-Feigned Retreat and Ambush
Step 1. A group of strong cats try to intimidate and attack the enemy line.
Step 2. The group of cats retreat; keep doing this until the enemy line breaks apart.
Step 3. Other warriors, usually tunnelers, leap out of rabbit holes and other holes in the ground on the other side of the attackers.
Step 4. Attack from both sides until the enemy retreats or surrenders.
