Nursery-ing

HawkShadow licked her kits small, furry, bodies. The brown tabby queen was laying down in the Nursery, with the two kits of her litter. 

"You're so cute! And definetly worth the long wait and pain," She purred.

Owlkit squirmed a little bit. He snuggled up closer to his mother.

Hawkshadow purred again. "Hmm. I should really name you... I'm pretty sure you want names," She paused. She had to consider the possibilities.

The queen decided a name for the little black tom kit. "You little one, will be Owlkit. Hopefully you will be wise, and not like me when I,was a kit." Memories rushed back.

She pounced on Ragekit's tail, "Ha! Caught you!" Ragekit twisted and broke free. "Mom, Hawkkit is bugging me!" 

The WindClan queen said, "Yes. Don't be like me. And you, little kit," She nudged Danwkit, "Will be DawnKit. One of the first kits. Yes, I like those names."

Owlkit yawned. He wasn't really aware of what his mother was saying. It all just sounded like gjgghighfiduhgghtihtouhg.

[Midnightive]

Dawnkit turns quietly at her mothers side. Squeaking slightly at her mothers voice, before cuddling up to her mother. She didn't know what was going on in the world or what faced her but she knew her mothers side. One she will not leave for a few moons.

(I don't mind.) Owlkit rolled over, accidentally squashing Dawnkit. He squeaked slightly.

Ooc: xD Why would we mind?
Ic: Hawkshadow's thoughts swirled. These little bundles were the future of the clan. Without kits, the clans would fall. Yet, they were in danger. No warriors to protect them.

The new mother sighed.

[Midnightive]

Dawnkit let out a squeak of annoyance. Her own brother just fell on her being about the same size she couldn't push him off. Meowing quietly to try and get her mother attention.

Owlkit squirmed off Dawnkit. He let out a little squeak.

The queen mewed, "And they're already fighting a squirming around. In a weeks time they'll open there eyes..." 

She licked Dawnkit. "It's ok. He is just being a kit."

Owlkit yawned again. He squeaked and cuddled up next to Dawnkit.

ic: Hawkstar pads into her den. She had just come back from her nine lives ceromony. Shed wait until the next day to announce everything, right now she would focus on her moon old kits. She carefully crept into the nest, but snapped a small twig. "Fox dung!" The kits would probably wake any moment.

Owlkit woke up and looked at his mother.  "Mommy!" He squealed. He sat up. "What you been doing? You been... eating?"
