Losteyes
Losteyes laid out in the den. His body was stretched out tail twitching as he slept. Every once in a while the movement of his paws could be seen from the dream.
He watched Sunsplash as she walked ahead of him. She looked back at him tilting her head in invitation for him to follow. Willing he ran up after her. He rubbed alongside her breathing in her familiar scent. She was beautiful. He looked up to her bright eyes to tell her how much he loved her. Sunsplash was gone.
He looked around. She couldn't have gone far. He had to find her. He ran off the log hitting the ground lightly. A growl sounded behind him and he turned to find a large dog with Sunsplash's eyes looking down at him. The dog lunged forward Losteyes desperately trying to run...
Losteyes jolted awake looking around desperately. Nothing but blackness met him. Ears twitching he heard the other elders breathing. Of course. He'd only dreamt it. It was the only time he saw.
