Firefeather padded into camp after the gathering, she had a lot of time to think on there long journey back. She knew she needed to address her clan and make a few of the apprentices warriors and a few of the kits needed to become apprentices. She was unsure if she sure bump the apprentice age down or just keep it the same for now. If she did that she was afraid there would be a lot of unneeded deaths in ShadowClan.
She jumped on the branch over hanging the camp and Yowled, " All cats old enough to catch their own prey, please gather around. We have a lot to discuss."
She flicked her tail while she waited for her clan to arrive around her.
"Cats of Shadowclan! I have some good news, I will make my trip to the Moonpool and receive my nine lives as soon as I'm able. I would also like Speckledpaw to take her place as Medicine Cat as soon as she is able. I would also like you to chose an apprentice we have only a few Kittens that are old enough to start this apprenticeship. Silentkit, He is now 4 moons. Sootkit, is now 6 moons. Rabbitkit, She is now 3 moons. Tumblekit is now 2 moons, and my kits are only a moon. Your choices are very limited at this moment. "
She looked around the Camp an Yowled again," I would really like to bump the apprentice age down to 4 moons. By doing so, the kittens would not receive their apprentice names until they are 5 moons, and would not be permitted to leave camp until they are 6 moons, or with special recommendation from their mentor. I feel since we have such a small clan as it is, going any younger then this is almost treason for our clan. With The medicine cat apprentice it will be the same. Rabbitkit is close to 4 moons so i would allow her to be an option for you Speckledpaw."
