1. Your tabs....the BGs are terrible and they are empty.
I would suggest using different back ground colors that don't burn the eyes out of your skull Erasing them altogether Filling them with things like Weather and Season, updates, and so on.
2. Kits
I would like to suggest putting a kits sub-board in the adoptions area just to organize them I would suggest some simple rules so that kits aren't insane.
Stuff like hacing a moderator to make sure that the kits are realistic. You know, if two brown cats have kits, they won't have white kits.
Only white kits or kits with lots of white can have blue eyes (it's an IRL fact) Any cat under 15 moons can't be a queen because they'd die in birthing. litters over 6 are not realistic, and litters over 4 are rare
litters over 6 are not realistic, and litters over 4 are rare
simple stuff like that.
The average litter is 3-5 kittens. However, a lot of cats have a litter of 6-8 at a point in there life (obviously they need to be the prime age, health, and had about two litters before) but still, it's possible and has happened many times. ^^

Cappy (can I call you Cappy? I made you an Admin for a few days so if you would like to change something go for it! Since this is fairly new to me and since Proboards has changed so much in the past year I can use all the help I could get

Cats go into heat anywhere from 4-6 months old. So anywhere from 4-6 moons is when your little bundle of fur is adolescence. Technically we honestly don't want She-cats to have Kittens until they have reached at least a year (12 moons) otherwise the Queen in question really had no room to learn how to become a Warrior. And a Queen is usually pregnant for 2 months (2 moons). So if your Cat did become in heat at 6 moons and then became pregnant when they were 10 moons they would be mothers at 12. So 15 months really isn't that big of a stretch for a queen to have kittens. That would mean she was 13 moons or so when she became pregnant.
Litters if kittens:
Queens can have anywhere from 1-12 kittens per litter and are capable of having up to five litters a year! But for the sake of the site I don't think that is really going to work out that well. For now i will say a litter of 4 is the largest we can have unless it is approved by Mid or myself.
Also (sorry Im writing a book here)
There is a site shop where you can buy things like different Colored eyes and what not, So blue eyes or even purple eyes (for all i care) can be bought. but as of right now (unless it is approved) Cats must be realistic (Firefeather is okay)
Also, kitten Colors...
Some colours are dominant and some are recessive. For example if you have a siamese who had an ordinary moggy in its ancestry it would carry the gene for that - but if it was mated to a pure bred Siamese the kits would most likely all look Siamese. But if the father also had some moggy in his blood line you could get a mixture of siamese kits and coloured ones - a big surprise! So the colour of kittens you get can depend on the bloodlines of both parents. In addition it is quite possible that a cat can have kittens by two separate fathers. We once had a Siamese who got out when she was on heat and she had a litter of five all different colours. If one of those subsequently mated with a Siamese or with another half and half kitten like herself there could again be a mixed litter of Siamese appearance and moggy. All good fun.
Also Cats can have several mates and the kittens can all have different fathers.
Example:
You have a Brown She-cat. She mates with a White male, a black male, an orange male, and lets do a white and black male.
You will have a strange arrangement of kitten colors and eye colors. So you honestly could have a black cat with blue eyes or even a brown cat with blue eyes. Its honestly all in how mating happens.
But since this is a Warrior RPG things like that don't happen (unless you really want to cheat on your mate). Honestly I think We should have an Expecting Board where the queen and Male in question can compare notes and then the staff can decide the number of kits per litter and if the kits have deformities, like deaf, blind, missing a leg, extra toes etc. Even coloring if need be.
Does that Clear things up? Everyone okay with this?
In real life, you're right, Feather (can I call you feather?) But in the warriors world, there have been almost no queens with litters over 4, and the cats mate with one other cat for life.
As for the genetics. A pure white cat with blue eyes is actually partly albino, while it's purely albino if it has red or pink eyes. The albinism gene in the cats is extremely recessive. As in, If a white and a brown cat have kits, the only way there will be ONE white kit is if the father carries a resistive albinism gene. And the gene has to be recent. If the father's grandmother's mother was white, the father's kits probably won't be.
Any other eye colors, green, amber, hazel, usually suggest that the cat has a pigmentation issue that is not related to albinism. Hence the reason blue eyes are only seen in white cats.
As for the cats' ages. It is said in the "Code of the Clans" book that cats at 6 moons old are barely big enough to have a chance at fighting a warrior. If we go with this size comparison (as unrealistic as it is) Then a she-cat who is under 15 moons old would be so small that a litter of more than 2 could kill them, and 4 or more will.
Think of it as real life. I know a 9 year old that is capable of having a child, but if she were to get pregnant it would almost surely kill her at some point. Same thing here.
The other part of that is that litters of kits are not as common in the Warriors world as they are IRL. Most she-cats only have two or three litters in their lifetimes! This would mean that breeding often (at least once kits start to grow up) Would flood the site and we wouldn't have enough warriors to train them. Right now it's a part of the plot to have that issue, but what happens when it's not?
I also thought of another suggestion. If there are only a few queens and one or two warriors left with maybe one apprentice in each clan, then the gene pool would be very tiny and could end up in inbreeding which would cause all sorts of problems. I would suggest allowing maybe two rogues/loners/kittypets to join each clan and only one or two. This would make sure that brothers aren't mating with sisters on accident, yah know?

Cappy, I agree with you for the most part. But couldnt we do a more realistic take on warriors? If we do that we could do a year(12 mooons) for kiting. because we are small right now it just seams to make the most sense with the clans trying to rebuild. 1-4 kittens no more then that per litter depending on age. and only 2-3 litters per lifetime (even that is pushing it).
At this point Rugues/loners/kittypets can join the clans and mate so that there isn't inbreeding.
Also for the flooding of too many kits, we can always start bans on things like that so it wont happen (wont be as fun also) but there is always that option.
Can't we do a realistic Warriors RPG or is that asking to much of people?

Being that i'm a logical person, applying real life cat stats to the warrior world wouldn't be an issue, just remember that for some it isn't canon and they may not be thrilled.
I do see your point in the aging choice, so i'm gonna let that go.

I mean it doesn't matter to me. It honestly could go either way. I like Traditional Warriors but at the same time i could go with something different too. We could even make a poll and see what other members think. We would stick the the warriors code for the most part, just change things like Breeding and things like that. I don't want to upset people by this either or step on anyone's paws either. But It could work well.
